Underneath the Friday night lights of Tom White Field at Mack Tharpe Stadium in Moultrie, Georgia on Friday, September 25, 2020 Colquitt prevailed 24-10 over longtime rival Valdosta. In an eagerly anticipated matchup that many have characterized as history in the making, an epic tale of gridiron rivalry dating back to 1913 ensued. This photo was taken at halftime when the game was tied at 7-7 by Georgia Web Development videographer and photographer Mark D. Hulett.

When the final horn sounded it was Justin Roger’s Colquitt County Packers prevailing 24-10 over a Rush Propst led Valdosta Wildcats team. The game was the 106th rivalry meeting between the South Georgia high school football teams and resulted in Colquitt’s 31st win. The Packers have won seven of the last eight meetings in a rivalry that dates back to 1913.
